Welcome to Seven Stars! We are a family run take away that has been serving food in Wellington, Telford for over 20 years.

Seven Stars specialises in authentic Chinese cuisine. Our recipes come from many different parts of China such as Beijing, Szechuan, Guangdong to name a few, this gives a great selection of tastes that will be fit for anyone’s palate whether it is spicy, sour or savoury!

With the Coronavirus situation to show signs of being under control, we have decided to reopen.

We will be opening on Tuesday 5th May2020.

As many of you will still be self-isolating, we will still be providing our delivery service as usual.

We would like to thank everyone for keeping their social distance which has allowed us to resume business.

Please rest assured we will continue with our extra protocols by increasing the frequency of cleaning workstations, door handles and other items that come in frequent contact. Mandatory temperature check and sanitising on all our staff when they enter and leave the premises.

We will get through this together.

An apology to our customers on the weekend.

Last weekend we were especially busy and we weren't prepared for it. Some of our customers had to wait over 90mins for their delivery and we would like to apologise them and also say thanks for being so patient and understanding. We will try to prepare better on the weekends to try and avoid the same situation. If possible, customers should order on weekdays for a shorter waiting time.

With the new 10pm curfew taking place, our walk in customers will not be able to enter the premises after 10pm, however our deliveries will still be available for our usual opening hours. Phone orders and internet orders on our website, www.sevenstarscuisine.com will still be available after 10pm.

Wishing a Merry Christmas to all our customers, friends and family!

This year on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve we will be opening half an hour earlier at 16:30 to try and ease some of the orders during the peak hours.

We will also be taking booking orders, so if you are planning something for the festive days, send us a message with what you would like, date and time you would like it for, the address for the food to be delivered to and a contact number. If you would like to pay by card for the booking then we can give you a call back to take the card payment.

So if you're planning to place an order, place one earlier to avoid waiting too long!

We would like to thank everyone for your support during this frightful year.

As Telford has now become Tier 3, we would like to ask our customers to try and avoid walk in orders if possible. This is because our shop is very small and we don't want to have to ask people to wait outside in the cold because of social distancing rules. Deliveries are very welcome.

To prevent the spread of Covid-19 we have newly implemented a pager system for walk in customers. Customers that have placed an order will be given a pager and then asked to wait outside the shop. Once the pager buzzes, it means that your food is ready to collect.

All pagers will be steralised when returned to us.

This is to minimize the amount of people inside the shop at one time, allowing all of us to keep social distancing.

We have tried to maintain safe social distancing whilst operating in our takeaway, but it has been clear that it is increasingly difficult.

Therefore, as the coronavirus situation in the UK is getting more hazardous, we have decided in order to protect our staff, our families and friends safe, we will be temporarily closing as of Tuesday 24th March 2020.

On New Year's Eve we had a technical issue on our website. The amount of orders we had, overloaded and crashed our system, this caused the orders to come in late and all at once. (30+ orders) With the sudden rush of orders and the phone constantly engaged with new orders coming, we struggled to cook and deliver the food on time to many of our customers.

We have had a major problem with our fryer today(23/01/2021). There has been some trouble with the internals of the fryer. We are trying to find a way to fix this as soon as possible, however with it being the weekend and the lockdown taking place, it may take longer than expected to get parts and the repairs to be done.

So unfortunately, we will be closed this weekend. We will try to get repairs done as soon as possible.

We are sorry to say that we will be closing until 2nd February. This is due to a member of our

staff who has recently been tested positive for Covid-19. All the other staff members have had

tests and have come back preliminarily negative however we will all be self isolating just in

case.
